ITF Radix returns to Åndalsnes Roots, depth and living Taekwon-Do!

On Saturday, February 14th, 2026, ITF Taekwon-Do practitioners from across Norway are invited to a very special event in one of the country’s most breathtaking locations: Åndalsnes, framed by steep mountains, fjords and a long tradition of serious martial arts training.

This seminar marks the first time since the pandemic that both founders of the ITF Radix project will teach together on Norwegian soil. For us, this seminar is a reunion, a continuation, and a return to the roots.

What is ITF Radix?

ITF Radix is about understanding Taekwon-Do from the inside out. Patterns, techniques and principles are explored as parts of a coherent fighting system rooted in balance, structure, timing and intent. The goal is to reveal what has always been there.

Since its first presentation in the Nederlands 2016, ITF Radix has been presented internationally in:

Åndalsnes holds a special place in this journey. For over twenty years, an annual seminar has been conducted here, making it a fixed point in the Norwegian Taekwon-Do calendar. The atmosphere, the people, and the setting create the perfect environment for focused training and honest exploration.
