On February 14th, 2026, forty ITF Taekwon-Do practitioners from Åndalsnes, Molde, Hustadvika, Haram, Harøy, Ålesund, and Volda gathered in Isfjorden for a dynamic ITF Radix seminar. Led by Master Robert Boer and Roy Rolstad, the day explored the hidden fighting applications within the patterns, from releasing techniques and clinch strategies to takedowns, hubut drills, and sonmuk sul. The energy, curiosity and shared community spirit made this seminar a memorable and practical celebration of Taekwon-Do in action.

At the 3rd TKDMeetUp in Poland I had the honor of presenting ITF Radix together with my son Melvin and friends from Lier Taekwon-Do Club. It was inspiring to return to Poland, meet familiar faces, and share the stage with dedicated speakers such as Lukasz Grygiel, Artur Osuchowski, Sławomir Listkiewicz, and Janusz Szopa.

At this year’s Budo Summer Camp in Risør, Roy Rolstad and his son Melvin had the unique opportunity to share ITF Radix concepts with martial artists from Jujutsu, Karate, and Kali. Set by the sea in week 27 every year, the camp blends intense training with true budo spirit. “If you’re a Taekwon-Do or Hapkido student looking to grow across styles, this camp is a must,” says Roy.
