Oslo Øst Summer Training – A New Tradition is Born

Sometimes, the best way to end a season is not to slow down, but to come together and push forward. That’s exactly what we did during the Oslo Øst Summer Training for Kids and Youth, held from June 23rd to 27th. at Oppsal Arena. And what a week it was!

Open to all members born between 2009 and 2017, this summer training wasn’t just a series of sessions, it was an experience. Over five packed days, the program offered the perfect blend of technical training, social bonding, and shared growth.

Daily Schedule (Monday–Thursday)

  • 10:00–11:30 – Focused Taekwon-Do training

  • 11:30–13:00 – Lunch and social time

  • 13:00–15:00 – Afternoon training and fun group activities

Friday Finale – Grading and Celebration

The final day, Friday June 27, featured a joint training and grading session where students got the chance to demonstrate their progress and take one more step forward on their martial arts journey.

All of this for a modest participation fee of 2500 NOK Note: Students who participated in both this camp and another summer camp (Langesund or Surnadal) could only grade at one of them.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Moving Forward

This wasn’t just a summer training camp it was the beginning of a tradition. A tradition rooted in joy, discipline, and the true spirit of Taekwon-Do.

We look forward to seeing you all again after the summer, stronger, wiser, and ready to kick even higher.
